Animals in the Qur’an: Donkey (حِمَارٌ)

Children study the donkey’s adaptability and use as a riding animal. The Qur’an compares people who carry knowledge without understanding to donkeys loaded with books and condemns loud voices by likening them to the donkey’s bray. Hadiths give rulings on donkey meat and prayer. It teaches humility, correct use of knowledge and respect for Allah’s guidance.
